This is the 5th 7dx party and the 7th Turkish scene party. So we, 7dx organizers,
don't want to repeat all "what is scene?", "what is 7dx?"
like questions. You can find these questions and answers from the links
below. We directly point more interesting subjects like "What is going
to happen at 7d6?".
• Rýfat Albayrak

...and we want to thank to all 7D6 visitors for their contribution and support.
We decided to make this scene activity, which is the last big Turkish scene
event in 2006, at one of the places where the scene was born. "School"
Contrary to most associations in Turkiye, "Beyoglu Endustri Meslek
Lisesi" is very open minded for the new ideas. So, we'll make this
year's party at the computer laboratory of Beyoglu Endustri Meslek Lisesi.
Party place is not that charming but there is enough hardware and an atmosphere
for the true "oldschool" spirit.
As you know, last year's main concept was game development. There was given
some successful seminars on this subject.
This year's main target is to have less seminars and more fun.
You'll here all news here. You'd better start to prepare your products for
the party. See you at 7d6. Don't forget, you can also join the compos by
e-mail. Check the competitions
section for details.

How will the 7d6 party be held?
7dx and Nightshift parties are the only activities in the local community.
It never aims to be a commercial organisation. Parallel to the size of
our scene, they are small and old-school.
As usual there is no entry fee.
Here is the list of what we do have for you this year?
» Demo, GP2X, 4kb demo, 256 byte, pixel-graphics, rendered graphics,
animations, chip/mod musics, scripting, illustration, game are the various
competition-sections. » Besides these, there will be "on-the-fly" competition,
covering the same sections. » Any other fun activities/competitions » Classic-games competitions, where gaming is (and will be) never
an important part of the whole party. » Getting an opportunity to use and experiment with various classical
computers (like Atari 1040ST, Commodore 64, Commodore 128, Amiga 500,
Amiga 600, Amiga 1200 etc) » Getting in touch with various local sceners who have a good knowledge
of their arts. » Presentation of demos which won international competitions on
a bigscreen/projector.
